Browser extension

Send links and videos from your browser straight to Rýchlik with one click. A Rýchlik button appears on video pages, you pick the quality and Rýchlik on your computer opens the download window.

The extension only talks to Rýchlik on your own computer (127.0.0.1); nothing is sent to the internet.

How it works

A Rýchlik button appears on pages with video.
You pick the quality right in the browser.
Rýchlik on your computer opens the “Add” window with the link filled in – nothing downloads without your confirmation.
Works in Firefox and in Chromium-based browsers.

First run

In Rýchlik open Settings → Extensions → Browser extension and click Copy token.
In the browser click the Rýchlik icon and paste the token under “Spojenie s aplikáciou” (connection to the app).
Click “Uložiť” (Save). You only need to do this once.

What you need

The extension only works together with the Rýchlik Desktop app, which must be running on your computer. The extension itself is currently in Slovak only.
